People Plants and Places (PPP) Tour
Look forward to the July 17 & 18, 2010 tour, from 10am - 4pm.
The PPP tour is an intimate peek into Bowen Island's hidden homes and gardens.
Held annually over the third weekend in July, the tour welcomes over 1000 visitors to the island. Hosted jointly by the Bowen Island Historians and the Bowen Island Memorial Garden Society, this sell-out event is a delightful way to explore Bowen Island.
Variety is part of the charm of this tour.
The sites are a mix of well established or newly planted gardens, historic sites and unique homes spread all over the island. It offers a rare chance to share ideas with
Master Gardeners and the homeowners themselves.
The tour is self-guided and requires you bring your car. Tickets go on sale early June and volunteers are always welcome. Proceeds support the Historians and the Memorial Garden Society. For more information call 604-947-2655.
